Training plans, by the time you're chasing.
Every one of these is a whole plan Tuin built for a made-up runner with a real goal — start to finish, every session, and the coach explaining what it decided and why. Find the distance and the time closest to yours, and read one end to end.
5K
The distance where a plan shows up fastest — and where more running is usually the wrong answer.
10K
Short enough to race often, long enough that it hurts honestly. Pick the time you are chasing.
Half marathon
The distance most runners settle on: far enough to need a plan, close enough to fit around a life.
Marathon
Where the last twelve kilometres decide everything, and the plan is mostly about arriving able to run them.
Trail & ultra
Written by time on feet and metres climbed, never by a pace on a hill.
The runners are made up. The plans are not: each one came out of the same door every athlete's first plan goes through, built from eight weeks of that runner's training. Which is why no two of them look alike — the goal time is only half of what decides a plan; the other half is the weeks behind it.
