Tuin · about

A running coach that actually listens.

Tuin connects to your Strava, learns what you actually run, and builds a training plan around one goal. Then it keeps the plan honest — week by week, run by run — and you steer it by talking to it, the way you'd text a coach who knows you.

How Tuin is different

It only does running

Not a fitness app with a running tab bolted on. Every number Tuin shows is a runner's number — training stress, fitness, fatigue, form, threshold pace adjusted for the hills you actually climbed. Road, trail, or a 30-hour mountain day: it speaks the same language you do.

Eager, but flexible

Tuin will push you — it wants the goal as much as you do. But a plan that only works if life behaves isn't a plan. Miss a session and it reshapes the week instead of showing you a red streak. The plan serves the goal; it doesn't guard its own tidiness.

You just talk to it

No dropdowns, no sliders, no rebuilding a plan from scratch. Say "my knee is sore, keep it easy this week" or "can we move the long run to Sunday?" and it does it — and tells you what it changed and why. Plain language, in English, Spanish or Catalan.

Life goes in the plan

Holidays, work trips, a wedding, a cold, a week when the kids are ill — tell Tuin and they become part of the plan instead of the reason it fell apart. Because life changes, and a plan that can't hear about it is already out of date.

It shows its reasoning

Every number has a page explaining what it means in plain words, and every change to your plan arrives with the reason attached. You should finish the season understanding your own training — not just having followed instructions.

It lives where you already are

Your runs arrive from Strava on their own — nothing to log, nothing to import. Tuin reads them, works out what the session actually was, and can write the read back onto the activity itself, so the coaching sits right next to the run.

How it works

  1. Connect Strava

One click. Tuin reads your history to learn the shape of your running — how much you run, how fast, how hilly, how often.

  2. Name one goal

A race, a distance, a date — or just "get fitter without breaking". Tuin builds the plan backwards from there.

  3. Then just live

Run, skip, travel, get ill, feel great. Tell Tuin what's going on and the plan keeps up with you.

Questions people ask

Do I need Strava?

Yes — that's how your runs reach Tuin. Any watch or phone that syncs to Strava works, and there's nothing to log by hand.

Is it only for road runners?

No. Tuin was built by a trail runner, and it treats elevation as first-class — a slow, steep hour counts for what it really cost you, not for how it looks on paper.

What does it cost?

7 days free, then €4.99/month. Cancel anytime — you get a full week of coaching before deciding anything.

Can I train in miles?

Yes — kilometres or miles, English, Spanish or Catalan. Change it once in settings and the whole app follows, coaching included.

Is a human reading my runs?

No. Your run summaries and your plan go to Anthropic's Claude to generate the coaching, and nowhere else. Nobody is browsing your training.

When can I get in?

Right now — connect your Strava and your first week is free.

Your data, plainly

Tuin never stores your GPS tracks or your location history. It reads a run's data once, in memory, turns it into training numbers, and forgets the rest. One click deletes everything, forever.
